Hi everyone. I wanted to introduce myself. I’m Amanda, I’m 23, and I was recently diagnosed with PSC and UC. I joined this forum to “meet” others dealing with PSC & to find support. I’m just learning about both my UC & PSC because both seem to have come out of nowhere - although the damage to my liver shows the PSC has been around for awhile. I’m looking forward to getting to know you all

Thanks for checking in. Sorry you had to be hit with two whammies. While I only have the psc (did my itme with uc), you'll find a lot of people on here who are in a similar situation as yours. So you're not alone.

Hi Amanda i have been recently diagnosed with PSC and 4 years ago was diagnosed with UC as well, we are in the same boat as well i am 25 years old nearly the same age so you are not alone and we are both going through exactly the same thing. I have my first appointment with a guy in the UK next monday as i live here. There are a lot more people on here than you think and they will offer great support and help and they will understand everything we will be going through now. Stay strong PSC is not a death sentence live life to the full as i intend to.
