This is something I was reading about last month and indeed it is shocking to know that fatty liver disease is likely to overtake alcoholic liver disease as the biggest cause for liver failure in the next decade. Up till now we have been debating whether or not alcoholics should get liver transplants before more deserving patients.. soon we may be debating the same for obesity linked liver failure patients.
