I have been seeing an Ayurvedic doctor for a year now, once every two months. I would say there is definitely some positive effect. The practice is based on what you should/shouldn’t eat for your body type (that’s body type in Ayurvedic terms). I was assessed as having a dominance in pitta which means my body ‘holds heat’ that can lead to inflammatory conditions. I have been eating a diet that reduces pitta and I have definitely felt better for it. Can’t say it has had any correlation to my lfts but I feel it has helped my colitis.
