Hi everyone! I am new to this site & am so happy to be part of the PSC support network here. I was diagnosed with PSC in 2001. I had my liver transplant 7 years ago, 2 days before my 27th birthday. My PSC came back his past winter & I now have a biliary drain in place. I just found DR. COX’s (Stanford) success stories with treating PSC with oral Vancomycin. Check this out if you haven’t seen this amazing research! Also…if you have been taking Vanco, please tell me how you are dealing with the cost of this expensive med (compounding pharmacy, etc) & your experience with the Vancomycin. Thanks so much!
My hubby has rPSC (recurrent PSC) after having a liver transplant in 1998. It came back in 2004. Are you being treated with oral Vanco? If so, please let me know how you are doing on it. Thanks! =)
