My liver numbers have been a bit elevated recently, as shown by blood work. My doctor ordered an ultrasound to check for narrowing and strictures in the billiary tree, and that ultrasound was last week.
I'll hear from my doctor soon about the results. He mentioned I may need a stent (I've had two previously) to temporarily unblock things. He's mentioned keeping things flowing is necessary to avoid sepsis and liver damage. After a couple months, the stent could be removed to see if the billiary tree stays open again on its own.
