Recently I was diagnosed with reoccurence Small Bile Duct PSC. Have been itching since Feb. 2013, and subsequently have increased my antirejections to almost the level I was on after TX in 2013. It has helped some along with a variety of meds to help with the itching...I found some information in the net regarding the useage of a Probiotics and Prednisone and/or immunosuprressive therapy that has helped children, which has either stopped or reversed the progression of PSC. I have been trying to convince my doctors at UCSF to let me try vancomycin but they are very reluctant or resistant to letting me try it...So I was wondering if anyone out there has been able to try these two drugs and what the outcome was....Appreciate any info on this...Thank you
