Hi everyone. It’s ZMO. Earlier this year I posted about being diagnosed with multi-focal invisible non-conventional high grade dysplasia. I got a second opinion on the pathology report from UMiami and UCSF. Both pathology departments said I had no dysplasia and that the atypia was reactive/reparative. I then had another Chromo done in September at NYU Langone. Again, no displasia. I am so relieved but wanted to stress the importance of getting second opinions. If I had not gotten a second opinion, I would have had a proctocolectomy with permanent ileostomy in July based on the recommendation of my GI at Johns Hopkins.
ZMO, glad to hear you got a good report on the dysplasia. How is your PSC doing these days? Are you having any particular issues physically that you are dealing with? I’m sure the community would welcome an update from you on your PSC.

With respect to my PSC, just experiencing fatigue. I recently changed my diet to less processed foods and carbs and my liver enzymes improved quite a bit from my prior blood work 3 months ago. I also lost 10 pounds which may have helped with my health and fatigue. I have been on Vancomycin for 3 years now. I get my Vanco from Cost Plus Drugs (Mark Cuban). They used to send me Lupin but this order was Ani generic in case anyone needs a cheaper source for ANI generic.
Best ZMO
ZMO, this is great news! I am glad you got confirmation from two different places. Yes, this shows how important getting a second opinion is.
