My son’s doctor prescribed Vanco with no argument
Thank you for the info. My GI doctor said he hadn’t heard of vanco for PSC. I’m not entirely surprised but it is very disheartening. I had been following the vancomycin success thread and it had given me hope. When I asked him to prescribe it and he said no, it was a real ptsd moment. So I decided instead of wasting time trying to find a doctor here in the midwest, I’d just go ahead and travel to a doctor that has experience prescribing it.

Oh I meant to ask… has anyone had any experience with Cleveland Clinic and vanco prescriptions? I’m headed there soon to make sure my PSC is not a PSC/PBC overlap. I’m hoping they will be open to prescribing it.

Cleveland will not prescribe. I am in the Cincy area too. Dr Lammert in Indianapolis will prescribe!
