I’m assuming I’m either early on in the disease or just lucky to have a mild version. Or my diagnosis is not right either way it’s lucky.
resurrecting this older thread… my 5 year old son (diagnosed PSC/Overlap/IBD) has always had normal bilirubin (at lower end of normal range). GGT has remained stubbornly high, but still down almost 50% from beginning treatment (Ursodiol, now also on Vanco). ALP, AST, ALT all down substantially. ALP in normal range, AST about 1.5x normal (from 5x normal at baseline), and ALT is about 3x normal (down from 5x normal at baseline). This gives me hope that the GGT is just taking longer to react to the treatment. .
Nice, bluejay. I hope he continues to improve.
