Thank you hezzera for the info on brand of Vanco. By the way, my son is not on FirvanQ but on Fagron. Additionally, he is on Flagyl too. It’s been one month now on Vanco and Flagyl but the improvement in UC is not significant enough. He is still on 25 mg Prednisone and can’t reduce it as he sees blood if goes down to 20 mg. Very worried. We wonder if changing the brand of vanco would help his UC? His insurance is not covering the cost so he is paying $800 for a month’s supply.
