I am 67years old and have had ulcerative colitis on and for 30 years although I have been clear for the last 5 years
On my last visit to ,my uc consultant he was worried about raised liver count and referred me to Heptologist worried I might have PSC
He arranged for me to have a liver biopsy and then informed me by letter it was PSC and would descuss on my visit today
Imagine my concern and worry as all information I looked up on PSC was not good
However on my visit today I was told that my biopsy showed very low level PSC and was told that because of my age should be ok
He has put me on Ursfalk and will see me in 6 months
So I am lucky
