# Rare disease success story (he invented new surgery/therapy)

This story is really inspirational. The college kid was bedridden for 11 years for unknown rare disease, but cured himself (after finding treatment and inventing new surgery).

Sometimes it needs accidental finding by some smart doctor (like PSC Vanco) and sometimes patient need to study and invent the treatment himself.
