my wife has been diagnosed with psc 3 months ago. all the research on psc that I have done suggests that her condition will gradually deteriorate and so will her quality of life and a liver transplant is the only solution. my question is this. why suffer through an estimated 10 years of itch, pain, biopsies, blood tests, scopes, sleepless nights and mental anguish? why not have a liver transplant as soon as possible(assuming a liver is available)?
