# 1.5 mill Euro to research PSC and gut bacteria

I couldn’t find this in English but maybe you could use Google Translate.

It says that the Norwegian research Center for PSC is going to research the meaning of gut bacteria for autoimmune diseases, especially Psc. They will focus on transplantees, as some develop PSC after transplant. They will then be able to see what happens from an early stage.

Very exciting, and when given this grant, they are making a new way for more grants and research.

Great article and a really interesting idea to study post transplant. This is the only way they can usefully study the onset of the disease - something I hadn’t thought of before. It really does create a window of opportunity to understand the initial mechanism that leads to the disease.
